Fi, the Smart Dog Technology Company, has announced a significant update to their Fi Series 3 collars, offering live tracking capabilities. The feature aims to help dog owners recover their lost pets more quickly and efficiently, promoting longer, healthier lives for the animals.
As part of the Fi Series 3 update, Live Tracking provides real-time location reporting of a dog wearing the collar. Jonathan Bensamoun, co-founder and CEO of Fi, highlighted that the company has reunited tens of thousands of dogs with their owners since its launch in 2019. Fi is dedicated to offering advanced technology solutions to assist dog owners in providing the best possible care for their pets.
Lost Dog Mode, a key feature of the Fi collar, allows owners to precisely track their dogs when they escape. Once activated, the collar increases the frequency of location reporting, providing real-time updates to help the owner reunite with their pet as soon as possible.
The Fi Series 3 collar is a major upgrade from its predecessor, boasting a smarter, smaller, and stronger design. The ergonomically designed collar is suitable for dogs of all sizes and is built to withstand everyday wear and tear. Despite being 50% smaller than the Series 2, the Series 3 collar features increased strength and durability, and it can endure 400 lbs of pull force. Additionally, the device is waterproof with IP68 & IP66K ratings and offers a 200% increase in LTE signal sensitivity, ensuring coverage even in remote locations. The upgrades have not compromised the collar’s industry-leading battery life.
Fi continues to innovate and grow, learning from the hundreds of thousands of dogs wearing Fi devices daily. These insights are shared with users via the Fi app, offering a comprehensive pet care experience.
