DJI, the leading drone manufacturer, has announced the release of its Mavic 3 Pro Drone, featuring an upgraded tri-camera system. This latest model in the Mavic line provides beginner and professional content creators with increased creative options for capturing aerial images and videos.
The new Mavic 3 Pro includes a 70mm 48MP medium telephoto lens, which complements the existing 24mm 20MP Hasselblad wide-angle lens and the 166mm 12MP full telephoto lens. This additional lens provides users with a 3x zoom “middle-ground” option, enabling even more versatile and dynamic shots.
Significant upgrades have been made to the returning 166mm 12MP telephoto lens, including a larger f/3.4 aperture and an increase in 4K video capture to 60 fps. These enhancements result in reduced noise in low-light situations and noticeably smoother 4K footage.
Despite its advanced optical capabilities, the Mavic 3 Pro remains accessible to beginners with its omnidirectional obstacle sensing system and APAS 5.0, which help the drone automatically navigate around obstacles. Various creative flight modes are also supported to make complex and dynamic shots easy to achieve.
The Mavic 3 Pro is available in several configurations, including a standard version with DJI RC remote, a Fly More Combo with DJI RC remote, a Fly More Combo with DJI RC Pro remote, and a Cine Premium Combo. The Fly More Combo versions offer extra flight batteries and accessories, while the Cine Premium Combo caters to professionals with Apple ProRes support across all three lenses and a built-in 1TB SSD drive.
